ABOUT CLARISSA
A Healing Space Rooted in Culture, Community, and Care
I am Clarissa Cannon— a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a mother of two daughters, and an ancestral-rooted healer. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in 2018, and my work is grounded in African spiritual traditions and the wisdom passed down through my lineage.
My purpose is to help Black women, Black girls, and Black families heal emotional wounds carried across generations. I specialize in mother–daughter relationships, identity restoration, and ancestral reconnection.
As a therapist and healer, I integrate culturally centered clinical practice with ancestral awareness, storytelling, and deep emotional guidance. My intention is simple:
I see you. I heal with you.
And your ancestors walk this journey with you.
OSUN is not just a practice—it is a growing community mental health initiative committed to healing the Black maternal line, supporting Black girls in identity development, and building spaces where our families can reconnect, restore, and thrive.
